A High Level Bridge over Jhanjabati River at 1st. Km on PWD Road to Halwa constructed under “Biju Setu Yojana” at an estimated cost of Rs. 472.29 lakhs having span of 3 x 30.63Mtr. It connects about 4 Nos. of Tribal dominated villages near Rayagada Block Head Quarter. After completion of this bridge, which gave all weather connectivity to Block and District head quarter at Rayagada.
Further, the villagers about 2540 people have been directly being benefited and their Socio Economic Development has been enhanced by selling their Agricultural Goods to the nearest market Rayagada. Also, they are well facilitated with medical and education. “A dream that has come true” when Biju Setu Yojana has been launched.
