Mukhya Mantri Sadak Yojana

Government is keen to provide all-weather connectivity to all unconnected habitations in the State. The habitations having 1000 or more habitations in non-schedule areas and habitations having 250 or more in schedule areas are being connected under PMGSY. Hence there are many habitations, around 7521 habitations, left unconnected.

Mukhya Mantri Sadak Yojana has been launched by State Govt. during 2015 for providing all-weather roads to unconnected habitations having population from 499 to 100 in Non-IAP districts and 249 to 100 in IAP districts and all left out unconnected habitations up to 100 population those are not been covered under PMGSY or any other scheme.

Scope of the Scheme :

  • Habitations : 3486 Nos. *
  • Km. of roads : 10,000 KM
  • Scheme period : 10 Years
  • Total Cost : Rs. 6000 Crore
  • The number of habitations to be covered under MMSY excludes 4035 left out habitations (10,000 KM), if approved under PMGSY.
  • Till 31.3.2019, 384 roads have been constructed by utilising Rs.1119.34 crore.
